Currently quilts are custom made to order. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss ordering a custom made quilt and I can provide further information on the process, quotes according to size, and an approximate wait time. We can then decide on all elements of the finished piece, from size and fabrics, to colour and design.
I use 100% natural fibres to make quilts. Fabrics used for the front, back and binding of the quilts are often a mixture of cotton and linen, and fabric scraps are used wherever possible to reduce waste. The batting used to line the quilts is usually 100% cotton, sometimes 50% cotton and 50% bamboo, and occasionally 100% wool – all chosen for their soft, breathable and long-lasting qualities. All items are hand quilted using quality cotton DMC thread or Sashiko thread. Prices start from £50 with small wall hangings (approx 30 cm sq.)
